Runningbacks
Name

Willis McGahee
Miami (Fla.)
385050504460
385656505015
384444503815
6666610
Outlook: McGahee is one of the premier running backs in this year's crop, with good speed and decent hands coming out of the backfield. It should be noted that McGahee suffered a potentially career-ending injury in the National Championship game and there's a chance he'll never see a down of WTF action. McGahee's upside should see him selected before the end of the first round.

Larry Johnson
Penn State
385650503870
386356504410
385044503120
Outlook: Johnson is a tough, between-the-tackles runner who has the top-end speed to take it the distance any time he touches the ball. He will immediately become a focal point on offense for whichever team drafts him.
Tecmo comparison: Emmitt Smith

Musa Smith
Georgia
383825503870
384431504420

Chris Brown
Colorado
384450503170
445056503815
383844502515
Outlook: Brown is a tall, nimble running back with good speed. He could be a starter or a quality backup for a team in need.

Justin Fargas
USC
384444502570
385050503110
383838501920
Outlook: Justin Fargas has some speed but is not particularly strong in the peripheral aspects of the running game. As a third-string RB or emergency starter, he could put up some reasonable numbers.
Tecmo comparison: Gil Fenerty
Name
RSMSHPBCREC%
Artose Pinner
Kentucky
313144502570
383850503120
312538501910
Outlook: Pinner would be lucky to receive an invite to a team's practice squad for 2003.
Tecmo comparison: Anthony Johnson

RSMSHPBCREC%
Domanick Davis
LSU
385038505060
385644565610
383825503830
Outlook: Davis is short in stature but is a shifty runner capable of being a workhorse back in the WTF. If not befallen by injury, Domanick should have a productive career from either the RB1 or RB2 position.
Tecmo comparison: Roger Craig
Name
RSMSHPBCREC%
Onterrio Smith
Oregon
383838504470
384444505010
313131503820
Outlook: Smith is a run-of-the-mill 4th running back who might wind up hanging around the waiver wire for years to come.
Tecmo comparison: Ken Clark
Name
RSMSHPBCREC%
Quentin Griffin
Oklahoma
313131502580
383838503110
312525501910
Outlook: Griffin is a back who would have benefitted from staying in college an extra year to work on his strength, conditioning, and receiving skills. He isn't good enough to get by on his weak speed.
Tecmo comparison: Kenneth Davis
Name
RSMSHPBCREC%
Lee Suggs
Virginia Tech
383844503170
384450503815
313138502515
Outlook: Suggs is a patient runner who can get 3 or 4 yards with relative ease, but has a hard time making defenders miss in the open field.
Tecmo comparison: Marc Logan
Name
RSMSHPBCREC%
LaBrandon Toefield
LSU
383856633170
38446369385
313150562525
Outlook: Toefield possesses good strength for a running back of his caliber but isn't fast enough to make a name for himself in the WTF.
Tecmo comparison: Sammie Smith
Name
RSMSHPBCREC%
Earnest Graham
Florida
384431503870
385038504410
383825503120
Outlook: Graham is an interesting prospect who some scouts believe could be an every-down back. It might take him a few seasons before he develops into a starter.
Tecmo comparison: Dexter Carter
Name
RSMSHPBCREC%
B.J. Askew
Michigan
443175503170
443881503810
442569502520
Outlook: Askew is a fullback who lacks elite blocking ability. He might be worth trying out at the tight end position.
Tecmo comparison: Ickey Woods
Name
RSMSHPBCREC%
Jeremi Johnson
Western Kentucky
442581502570
443188503130
Outlook: Johnson is a punishing blocker but provides little else that would be attractive to WTF teams. His ability to catch the ball out of the backfield is nonexistent.
Tecmo comparison: Jamie Mueller
Name
RSMSHPBCREC%
Justin Griffith
Mississippi State
443181503170
443888503810
442575502520
Outlook: Griffith provides good blocking ability with some reasonable upside. Again, a move to the tight end position might provide Justin with a little more playing time.
Tecmo comparison: Michael Haddix
Name
RSMSHPBCREC%
Ovie Mughelli
Wake Forest
442588502580
443194503120
Outlook: Mughelli is the best blocker in this year's fullback crop, but is a far cry from a sure bet as a starter on offense. His value will likely lie as a kick returner on special teams, where we've seen similar prospects run rampant.
Tecmo comparison: Barry Word
