Quarterbacks

David Carr
Fresno State
1944445050
2550505620
255656635
1338384425
Outlook: David Carr threw for 4800 yards and 48 TD last year at Fresno State while winning the Johnny Unitas award as the nation's top quarterback, and looks to be a promising prospect. He is good at getting to the perimeter and making plays with his legs. He doesn't possess great passing skills and would likely be somewhat of a project, and he is prone to taking sacks. Carr would be an interesting selection in the 2nd round.

Joey Harrington
Oregon
1350314440
1356385030
1363445610
1344253820
Outlook: Joey Harrington led the Oregon Ducks to victory in the 2002 Fiesta Bowl, capping a fine college career. He ends his career at Oregon in the Top 5 in just about every passing statistic in school history. Scouts are unimpressed with Harrington's mechanics and feel opposing defensive backs will eat him alive in the pro game. Fortunately, he does get some zip on the ball, and could be a decent backup in the right system.

Patrick Ramsey
Tulane
1344383860
1350444430
1338313110
Outlook: Ramsey followed in the footsteps of current Jets QB Shaun King at Tulane, and forged quite a nice career of his own for the Green Wave. He'll more than likely be strictly a backup as a pro.
Tecmo comparison: Stan Humphries
Name
MSPSPCAB%
Josh McCown
Sam Houston State
1344313860
1350384415
195644505
1338253120
Outlook: McCown played three seasons at Division I SMU before transferring to I-AA Sam Houston State where he developed nicely as a passer and became one of the I-AA's top WTF prospects. This, combined with a great performance at the scouting combine, lead some scouts to believe that with a little work, McCown could be a starter in this league. Be prepared to go through some growing pains with McCown as he is truly a raw prospect.

MSPSPCAB%
David Garrard
East Carolina
1350503870
1956564415
1344443115
Outlook: Garrard participated in one of college football's most classic games at East Carolina, where he lost to Marshall QB Byron Leftwich 64-61 in the GMAC Bowl. Garrard is a fine prospect who could one day develop into not just a solid starter, but could become an All-Pro performer at QB.
Tecmo comparison: Ken O'Brien
Name
MSPSPCAB%
Rohan Davey
LSU
1938252560
2544313120
1331191920
Outlook: Davey has some wheels and can throw with decent velocity but has no command over where the ball is going. He's unlikely to see much playing time if drafted.
Tecmo comparison: Mike Pagel
Name
MSPSPCAB%
Randy Fasani
Stanford
1331193870
1338254420
1325133110
Outlook: Fasani had a fine career at Stanford, but will be overmatched in a major way as a professional QB.
Tecmo comparison: Steve Grogan
Name
MSPSPCAB%
Kurt Kittner
Illinois
1344313160
1350383810
1338252530
Outlook: Kittner had an awesome career at Illinois, leading Illinois to a Big Ten Championship and a Sugar Bowl berth (where they lost to Rohan Davey's LSU squad). He looks like he could be a contender for a backup job in the WTF.
Tecmo comparison: Jim McMahon
Name
MSPSPCAB%
Craig Nall
Northwestern State
1344383170
1350443815
1338312515
Outlook: Nall has proven time and again that when given the opportunity, he can be a good performer. He won't be an impact player in the WTF, but could be a solid backup for years to come.
Tecmo comparison: Mike Elkins
Name
MSPSPCAB%
J.T. O.Sullivan
UC-Davis
1356313860
1363384415
1350253125
Outlook: J.T. O'Sullivan throws the ball with more velocity than another other QB in this draft, but is not particularly effective in delivering the ball accurately. He has a hard time reading defenses and making mid-play adjustments. At Division II UC-Davis he was able to get by on sheer athleticism, but will be unable to do the same as a pro.
Tecmo comparison: Jay Schroeder
Name
MSPSPCAB%
Quinn Gray
Florida A&M
1338384470
1344445020
1331313810
Outlook: Gray is a raw prospect but has all the physical attributes you'd want in a quarterback. In time he could be a decent backup.
Tecmo comparison: Tom Tupa
Name
MSPSPCAB%
Shaun Hill
Maryland
1344443855
1350504425
1338383120
Outlook: Hill led a previously-mediocre Maryland squad to an Orange Bowl berth in his senior season, but is widely considered ill-equipped for the pro game. That said, he throws fairly accurately and makes few mistakes. He could be a good caretaker quarterback for a team with a strong running game.
